Why is freshly made almond milk better for you?

Did you know we take the time to soak our almonds and press almond milk fresh for you each production day. Why do we do this? Because it offers better taste, nutrition and quality (and it is better for the environment too!) Read on to find out why fresh almond milk should be your go to!

  1.  Freshness and Flavour: When it comes to taste, nothing beats the creamy, nutty flavour of fresh almond milk. Unlike boxed almond milk that may undergo extensive processing and pasteurisation, fresh almond milk retains its natural flavours and aromas, resulting in a richer and more enjoyable taste experience.
  1. Preservative-Free and Pure: Boxed almond milk often contains preservatives, stabilisers, and additives to prolong shelf life. On the other hand, our fresh almond milk is made using only two simple ingredients: almonds and filtered water. Then we add our natural flavourings like cacao powder or spices (we never use artificial flavours or colours)
  1. Higher Nutrient Content: Our fresh almond milk boasts a higher nutrient content compared to its boxed counterparts. The almonds used in fresh almond milk retain their natural goodness, providing ample amounts of vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, and other essential nutrients. We use 12% almonds in our almond milk, compared to most boxed varieties, which use 2-4%!
  1. Sustainability and Reduced Environmental Impact: We use almonds from South Australia and Victoria (unfortunately there are no Western Australian Almond farms at the moment). Once made we package our almond milks in glass jars and send them to you. So no Plastic or Tetra Pak cartons which cannot be recycled. Our glass jars can be returned to us for re-use too!
